Born 1956 in Reykjavik, I've been an artist since 1987. I specialize in oil, acrylic, and aquarelle. In 2025, I took up pointing again and now I'm focusing on aquarelle.

An Eruption of
Artistic Creativity

In my home, Iceland, Nature has formidable power and offers powerful and colourful displays.
 
Glowing lava gushes from the black Mother Earth and flows through the landscape with wonderful colours.
The northern lights dance on the glistening ice.
 
From this orgy of colours my desire to paint was born.
 
I paint through an inner vision, spurred on by the sounds of music, with the force of a volcano inside me.

The theatre of real life and the colours of nature flow from my paintbrush today, so that tomorrow you will have the pleasure of viewing my colourful past.
For me, being creative means to have the guts, to dare to see and to feel, to capture something and enter it into my paintings.
 
Life is too short for sadness.
 
Colours, music, love, passion, poetry, light - magic of all senses anew.
 
Deep in the forest the secret is hidden, the treasure of the past.
 
Time stands still - calmness sets in - all senses are engaged.
